Global Archaeology started as a year of archaeology and adventure 12 countries – 12 projects – 12 months. I spent a full year traveling across the globe contributing my time to archaeological excavations and research projects while documenting the journey through social media (don’t forget to follow!).

The process of writing about archaeology and sharing it through the Global Archaeology Blog allowed me to understand archaeology in a new way. Archaeology reveals the story of our shared global past – and can be a gateway for human connection and understanding in the present.

Global Archaeology has now become a long term project of discovery – there is always more to uncover!
